Belts Logistics provides warehousing and distribution services in Maryland, with facilities near the Port of Baltimore and in the Baltimore-Washington corridor (near BWI Airport). Services include public and contract warehousing, inventory management, cross-docking (transloading), case picking, fulfillment, value-added services and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) capabilities. Our facility layouts, consisting of high-cube bulk and racked environments, support many of our value-added services – from storage and handling to co-packing, labeling, kitting, shifted load re-works, and returns processing, etc., enabling us to provide you with unique services that help optimize supply chain efficiencies. Further, we are FDA Food Facility Registered and BRC Global Standards (BRCGS) and American Institute of Baking (AIB) certified, which provides customers the assurance that products are handled in accordance with highest industry standards.
Cross-Docking Services
Belts Logistics provides cross-docking services in Baltimore, Maryland, allowing inbound freight to be unloaded, sorted, consolidated, and transferred to outbound trucks with little or no intermediate storage. This helps businesses reduce warehouse handling and storage costs while moving high-volume products to their destinations faster. Belts has been providing, and constantly improving, its cross-dock services for decades. Cross-docking freight allows us to sort incoming freight to different destinations, or consolidate product for delivery to one final destination. This practice gets your product to market faster, and reduces costs by using less warehouse space and less labor. Cross-docking is especially beneficial for businesses moving high volumes of products that need to reach multiple destinations quickly and accurately. Belts can sort inbound freight for multiple destinations or consolidate products into shipments destined for a single location.
Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Warehousing & Processing Services
Belts Logistics provides Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) warehousing and processing services in Maryland, with operating authority in FTZ 73 near BWI Airport and FTZ 74 in Baltimore City and surrounding counties. FTZ services can help importers, manufacturers, and distributors defer customs duties while their imported goods are stored, processed, or prepared for distribution. Belts also has Foreign Trade Zone Processing Authority, which allows certain assembly and product-manipulation activities to be performed within an FTZ environment.
FTZ Advantages for manufacturers and distributors include:
- Duty deferral on imported products until shipment
- Assembly of component parts within a Zone for shipment to U.S. markets at a lower "finished product" duty rate
- Sampling, inspection testing or repair of imported products without duty payment
- "Made in U.S.A." designation on products assembled or “finished” using imported components in a Zone
- Duty deferral or the resolution of quota problems within a Zone
- Duty abatement on the destruction of waste products within a Zone
- Sampling, inspection testing, or repair of imported products without duty payment
We are also one of the very few warehouses on the east coast with Processing Authority in a Foreign Trade Zone, which adds additional options for your company, including assembly and product manipulation in a tax-free or tax-deferred environment.

Belts Logistics operates food-grade warehousing facilities that maintain GFSI-recognized BRCGS and AIB certifications for storage and distribution. Case Picking
Belts Logistics provides case picking services whenever wholesale distribution or retail replenishment customers require partial-pallet or multiple-SKU orders that require products be picked and shipped by case. Our warehouse operations support the entire process, from order generation and route planning to item retrieval, order consolidation, packaging, labeling, and shipping.
Case picking is an integral process within our warehouse operations, and we optimize the process of handling large orders, typically for store replenishment and wholesale distribution. It involves handling cases containing multiple items for shipment. Customers can access inventory and order information directly through Belts' secure online customer portal.

Belts Logistics provides warehouse reporting and business intelligence tools that help customers monitor inventory, fulfillment performance, picking accuracy, and other key distribution metrics. Data from Belts' WMS is periodically organized and analyzed to identify operational trends and improve warehouse efficiencies.
